Who publishes this site, what its material is and is not, and the limits of our responsibility.
My file came from an office program, not a design app. Can you still use it?
Often, yes. We preflight it first and tell you plainly what will not survive printing, such as RGB colour, missing fonts or images too small for the size, and what it takes to fix each one.
How do you make sure the colour matches what I approved?
The proof is made with the same colour profile the press will use, so what you sign off on the proof is the target the pressroom works to.
Can you prepare files for a printer I already work with?
Yes. Tell us the press, the sheet size and the finishing, and the output is set up to that printer's specification rather than a generic one.
Incoming files checked against the press profile: missing fonts, low-resolution images, bleed and overprint flagged before the job moves on.
Colour handled from screen to sheet, with ICC profiles and calibrated proofs so the approved proof and the printed run agree.
Imposition built for the press, the sheet size and the finishing, so pages land in the right order after folding and trimming.
Plate-ready output, checked for registration and trapping before it leaves for the pressroom.
Help with the pre-press workflow itself: RIP settings, output profiles and file handling set up so repeat jobs come out the same.
W & A USA works on the stage between finished artwork and the press: checking files, managing colour, laying out the sheet and producing the output a printer runs from.
Here you will find the work we take on, the questions clients ask most often, and a direct way to send us a job.

If an illustration appears on the site, it stands for the type of work we do; it records no specific item and shows no stock. What is available, in what specification and finish, is confirmed when we quote.
No part of this site is an offer, a booking, a warranty or a guarantee of any result. The written agreement for each job governs the work, and it takes precedence over anything published here.
The site carries no ratings, review totals, customer counts or years-in-business claims. Descriptions of our work are plain and free of superlatives we cannot evidence.
Names of other brands, products, districts or organisations that appear here belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively, to say where we work or what we do. No partnership, sponsorship or endorsement is implied.
